About your Hosts

Bob and Johane love the outdoors and the quiet of life away from cities. Bob was a Loadmaster in the Canadian Forces for 27 years, and with Johane and their three daughters, lived in many areas of Canada as well as in Germany for four years. Johane, who is bilingual in English and French, is a specialist when it comes to computers. Two of their daughters, Sheila and Kathleen, live in Winnipeg and Sheri Lynn lives in Edmonton.

We welcome you to spend time in the beautiful Okanagan, just 5 minutes away from Lake Okanagan. If you are looking for a quiet vacation, perhaps hoping to find the serendipity in life, we offer you a "home away from home," minus the everyday demands that you normally have to deal with.

Come spend some time with us in front of the cosy campfire in the evening, or go for a hike at the scenic Fintry Falls or Sugarloaf Mountain. Spend a lazy day at the beach. Perhaps just go for a casual stroll in the woods. You may be lucky and see a deer or more likely, those comical quails who'll run back and forth in a panic and insist in waiting until the very last moment before they finally make up their minds and fly to the nearest branch.
