This area is a hiker's paradise. Of course there is also the beach as well as boating and fishing. And about half an hour away there is golfing. In winter time there is excellent skiing at Silver Star Mountain which is about an hour's drive.

Below are some exquisitely wonderful pictures taken by our guests, Laura, Raj and friend Nora, frequent guests at the Enchanted Palace from their hike up Sugarloaf Mountain, which is approximately 4,500 feet. It takes about an hour to climb.
